QuiCode Inkjet Printer Range (TIJ)
Identification Technologies Scotland Limited have been supplying thermal inkjet technology (TIJ) for over 23 years. Powered by Hewlett-Packard (HP) this gives a great solution for nice clean crisp high resolution inkjet printing with no need for annual service visits. Just like your desktop printer you change the cartridge and the machine is ready to go.
Within this range we offer hand held printers to online printers which can be integrated onto your production line.
The systems in this range are available with up to 6 print-heads, so can even be used for complicated graphics or large text or barcode on the side of boxes, plastic, glass, wood, plasterboard, concrete products, fabrics and more, with printing speeds of up to 200 meters per minute (depending on substrate and d.p.i). We have a wide range of inks available,
to suit porous, non porous, along with our range of specially developed UV Cure inks for codes that need
to withstand certain rubbing or chemical resistance.

Elfin 1H

The Elfin-1H is an ergonomic lightweight handheld version of our Elfin-1 model. This printer allows up to 1/2″ print height and the ability to take this printer anywhere within your facility for “short run” project printing or direct printing onto products stacked onto a pallet.

Elfin V1DC

Elfin-1DC is unique with its curved deflection plate paired with a spring mechanism to easily guide across most uneven surfaces at close range and print directly onto your product. Weather a “clamshell” or a glass bottle, the curvature allows the printhead to stretch around the uneven surface.

Elfin 2 & 2C
High-resolution TIJ printer for Large Character Printing
The Elfin-2 & 2C is a fully featured system that will print just about anything. You can run the Elfin-2 with one or two print heads, and you can use both the print heads on one side of your case or you can print on opposite sides of your case at the same time. This can also be configured with an uneven surface print head for printing uneven packaging to eggs using soft touch print head mounting system.
Elfin 4-6 & Elfin 4-6C
High-resolution TIJ printer for Large Character Printing
The Elfin-6 & 6C is a fully featured system that will print just about anything. You can run this controller with 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 print heads. You can either stitch all heads together to give a large format print up to 76.2mm for side printing or downward printing. Or you can split the heads up to print front back or top of your product using one controller.
